Omelettes

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/4 -1/2 cup of shredded cheese

      • I honestly don't know how much I used. Go with with your gut, it will be great.

  • 1 Tbs butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a small nonstick pan over medium-low heat.

  2. Crack 3 eggs into a small bowl and beat well. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Add 1 Tbs of butter to the pan and wait for it to melt.

  4. Once it begins to turn brown and smells nutty add your egg mixture to the pan.

  5. Using a spatula mix the mixture for a few seconds as the eggs begin to scramble.

  6. Allow the egg mixture to settle in the pan and use your spatula to run around the edge of the eggs.

  7. Lift and rotate your pan so that any uncooked egg hits the hot outside of your pan.

  8. Again use your spatula to run around the edge of the eggs.

  9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 untill no egg runs to the edge of the pan.

  10. Add your cheese to half of your omelette,

  11. Using your spatula flip the non-cheesed side over onto the cheesed side.

  12. Let the omelette cook for 30 seconds so the cheese melts.

  13. Slide the omelette on a plate

  14. Top with whatever you'd like.

  15. Eat
